Top Edge Consulting offer a complete turn – key Prefab/Modular Building Solution by using steel framing system under one roof. Light Steel Framing (LSF) can be used to replace the traditional Laterite / brick and concrete construction. It has truly achieved the objectives of standardized design, unified factory production & mechanized construction. All of these can greatly reduce the Labour intensity & shorten the construction period. Top Edge Consulting LSF Structure has its apparent advantages on architectural forms, structural integrity, combined economic advantages, & environmental consideration over conventional construction system. Hot dipped galvanized, high tensile steel is cold formed to customized sigma profile for various studs & framing tracks along with purlins, joists & trusses. Top Edge Consulting fabricates and installs LSF walls panel assembly & roof truss as per design required.

Design and Detailing 

We provide your firm with competitive, accurate and easily interpreted detailing. It can all be easily and intuitively handled using LGSF CAD’s comprehensive, integrated software suite and our services are on par with those available in the market. Technically correct, economical and easily adaptable designs are part of our project. Personnel with adequate skills to develop plans according to specifications are the backbone. 

Structural Analysis 

The LGSF CAD structural analysis deals with the development of suitable arrangement of structural elements for the structures to support the external loads or the various critical combinations of the loads which are likely to act on the structure. The analysis also deals with the determination of internal forces in the various members. State of stress and critical combination of the stresses at various points which Includes the nature, magnitude and the direction of these stresses and the external reactions due to the worst possible combinations of the load.

Pre-fabricating 

LGSF’s heavy-duty manufacturing equipment is engineered for fast, high volume production of cold form steel framing, with accuracy that is determined by the system, not the skill level of factory workers or on site assemblers. Allows complete buildings of reducing waste to less than 1%. All components are produced to an accuracy of +/- 0.5mm ensuring the steel framing is precise and the structure can be built 100% to plan. All holes for fasteners and services are pre-punched to facilitate quick assembly on site and reduce labour costs.

• This concept is completely a dry wall construction system which eliminates wet work as well as reduces construction time frame. 
• This entire structure is much lighter almost 30-35 % as compare to RCC building and highly earth quake resistant structure system. 
• The entire framing system is manufactured out of High quality High tensile Galvanized steel. This is one of the superior coating recommended as per IS / International standard for structure system. 
• Most of finishing materials used (external/internal) are factory finished high-quality materials manufactured under controlled environment. 
• LGSF structure is CAD driven process and designed on dedicated software which provides complete output including drawings and Material BOQ. 
• This system is ideal for high wind zone ( 200 miles per hour) as well as high seismic zone area (Richter scale 7-8) as the dead load of entire structure system is much lower as compare to RCC. 
• LGSF buildings are significantly lighter as compare to RCC therefore you do not need heavy foundations. 
• Design freedom and easy to transport in any areas shows the flexibility of this technology. This concept is modular and customized. 
• Construction speed is much faster and easy to install without requiring heavy equipment such as cranes. 
• LGSF system is thermally insulated therefore provides excellent insulation value due to cavity and high quality insulation. 
• Longer life span and easy to maintain are further adds quality of this concept. Provide better habitable environment due to insulated constructions. 
• Overall time saving and reusability of cold formed steel structures is the crust of this technology, which concludes into ultimate saving. 

The entire project cycle considered for project completion is :

• Entire CAD and fabrication drawings, production of cold formed structures, their transportation to site to assembly of requisite frames, installation and finishing work to complete the building to the satisfaction of end users.
• Cold formed steel buildings were preferred in the west so far but now they are equally popular in our country because of their umpteen advantages.
• This type of construction takes very less time, cost over the benefits is enormous, and building block construction has added advantage towards expansion of the building with very little effort. These structures are rust resistant and can be reused at different location adding a great amount of benefit for usage. These building are very light hence they can be taken and constructed to far end location where conventional building materials are difficult to be carried.
